Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Dome
Peace Memorial Park

This park was established to honor the memories of those who lost their lives in the atomic bombing on August 6, 1945, and to share the hope that such a tragedy will never occur again. Your guide will accompany you through the park, explaining the various memorials and monuments that convey Hiroshima's message of peace.

Atomic Bomb Dome (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
Along the river, you will find the iconic A-Bomb Dome, one of the few buildings that remained standing near the hypocenter of the explosion. Once used as an exhibition hall for local industry, it now serves as a symbol of both destruction and hope.

Peace Memorial Museum
Located at the south end of the park, this museum offers a poignant insight into the aftermath of the bombing. Through photographs, films, and personal belongings of the victims, the museum conveys a strong message advocating for the abolition of nuclear weapons and the pursuit of lasting world peace.
